Learning French in 15 Minutes - Introduction

This is what I was talking about in the first post. Some of you asked whether will we be learning like 7 words per week? Nope...this is much more interesting and practical! Or, is there really, really something for us to learn from this blog? My answer is a definite yes!

So, stay with us and here is how we are going to do it. It is not complicated...just read on!

First thing first, we will be using this just as a reference. The rest will depend on your own initiative. As a matter of fact, we are not French experts (yet), so like you peeps out there, we are also learning with you along the way.

So, learning French in just 15 minutes a day? Too good to be true?

We will call this the Frenchy Drill...you come in here everyday drilling drilling...in the end...you will become a little Frenchy like us!

So, you must have noticed that beautiful Lasbella Paris Cover Flap on the sidebar on your right. Wondering how you can use that for?

Like you have read earlier, the cover flap allows you to conceal the French so that you can test whether you have remembered correctly. It's draggable, try it!

Oh, another thing before I forget, if you all have any doubts about French on any subjects? How to pronounce? What's the meaning? Or any particular words you all wan to learn? Well, I guess you must be wondering how could this be happening! A trip to Paris by UKM students?? What? Are you serious?? How??? When?????

Yes, it is undeniably true! A million thanks to our initiative lecturers, Monsieur Sulaiman and Madamme Irene for proposing this trip and make our dreams come true... **Merci beaucoup!!

Later, I will introduce the members of Lasbella Paris 2010. In the posted pictures, you will find their personal particulars and some whispers from their heart about what Lasbella Paris means to them in simple French. For those who do not learn French Language, please do not hesitate to use the translator engine to explore!

Ever wonder why Lasbella Paris?

It's actually derived from the phrase in Bahasa Melayu - LAwatan Sambil BELAjar ke PARIS 2010 and that extra L adds in a little French taste to it as Belle in French means beautiful.Voila! Here you go...

Since January 2010, this blogsite was born in conjunction with the planning of our UKM French Class Study Trip to Paris. We are a bunch of diversified students hailing from UKM *obviously* coming from different fields. We are fired up with the passion of learning to speak francais, picking up the parts and parcel about France - her culture, her customs, her people, her everything...

So, if you are curiously wondering..."Why should I be here? It has nothing related to me..."

WAIT!

We would like to sincerely invite y'all to embark on this blog journey with us. We would use this blog as a platform to learn about the basic French communication, tell about our stories and share about the beautiful city of Paris. We hope that along this odyssey with us, you can also take something useful back with you and see Paris through our eyes.

I believe that whenever we see the world through others' eyes, we see something different. The more different those eyes are from ours, the more different the experience will be. Maybe interesting, maybe shocking, maybe something new.
